Pastor Jerry A. Gauthier II

Born and raised in Traverse City, MI. He attended Concordia University Ann Arbor, MI (1996-2000) graduating with B.A. majoring in World Religions and a minor in Greek.  After college, he went to Concordia Theological Seminary Fort Wayne, IN (2000-2004) in studies to be a pastor receiving a Master of Divinity. His first call was in 2004 to serve Trinity Lutheran Church Sioux Valley, MN. In a short couple of years, his single parish ministry would convert into a dual parish ministry to also receive a call to serve Concordia Lutheran Church Lake Park, IA. After his fourteen years “out west,”  he received a call in 2018 to serve Zion Lutheran Church Wabash, IN. Some activities for Pastor Gauthier over the years has been to help with worship/Bible study at local nursing homes, serve on the board of what was Sioux Valley Lutheran High School, do chapel services at the Immanuel Lutheran K-8 School, write devotions for Concordia Publishing House and for local radio stations, go on various youth trips to Higher Things Gatherings Conferences and Thrivent Heartwood Resort, and also serve six years as the Worthington Circuit Visitor for the MN South District LC-MS. Pastor Gauthier has been married for sixteen years to his wife Amy who runs a pet grooming business out of their home in Wabash called, “Bark of All Trades.” They have plenty of dogs, cats, fish, and enjoy outdoor activities from hunting and fishing to biking.
